Upper Union

Upper Union cemetery no longer exists but was once a nice little cemetery under some large cedar trees just up the hill from Union Cemetery. The last time I was there only a couple of stones were found that someone had retrieved from the pile of stones that was bulldozed from the cemetery by some person who was going to build a house. The local people stopped him from building the house but did not act in time to prevent the destruction of the cemetery. Most of the stones are in a pile of dirt just north of the cemetery location.

If you have any information about any of these families or any old pictures that we can use I would love to hear from you. I have no pictures of some of the families listed here. Any information or pictures would be greatly appreciated. We cannot use pictures of any living persons unless we have a release from the individual.
